On the 11th February 2010, the 02 Arena hosted the opening night of the Whyte and Mackay Premier League Darts, Britain's biggest indoor sporting event. Fans travelled from all over the UK to see the likes of Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld and James Wade in action. Over 8,000 fans attended the event, reaffirming the status of Darts as the UK's biggest indoor sport.
